Windshield
Aftermarket tinting on the windshield is prohibited (selling, inspecting, installing, and driving with it are separately barred by RSA 266:58-a, I-III), except a strip not wider than 6 inches at the very top of the windshield with a light transmittance of not less than 35% (RSA 266:58-a, V).

Enforcement
A natural person who violates the section is guilty of a violation (RSA 266:58-a, VI). Tinted rear windows require outside rear view mirrors on both the left and right side.
